Re-purposing: love when it works!  Em wanted a swimsuit for her American Girl doll.  I looked through the magazine and they were ridiculously expensive.  Instead we took Em's old swim skirt, cut it up, and made a cute little suit for FREE!

Birthday banner...

This is one of the funnest projects I've done in a long time.  I've seen several of these banners on blogs and fabric websites and I think they are adorable.  I combined a bunch of different ideas from the ones I've seen and came up with this.  I love it!

Scrapbook pages...

I'm a very boring/simple scrapbooker - I like to get a lot of pages finished as quickly as possible!

These pages are for 3 different books, so there are a lot of repeats. I'm not finished with a few of them - I still need to journal and label some of the pages.

(I have a new computer and I haven't calibrated the monitor yet, so the pictures might look crappy.)

Chunky log cabin

I love log cabin quilts, but the thought making one of them is a little overwhelming. I tried this "chunky" pattern from my favorite quilting site and I love it!

Em and I made jammies for her American Girl dolls. It was fun to make something quick and simple! I found a very basic pattern that makes pants, shirts, skirts, jackets and hoodies. It's very versatile and I think we'll get a lot of mileage out of it!

Christmas crafting

Some more embroidery:

And another 'wonky' 9-patch:

Circle quilt

I love how this turned out. I got the idea from here. This woman is amazing and cranks out the quilts like you wouldn't believe.

Em helped me a lot with this one, which was fun because it is for her room, so I wanted her to have a part in it. I was worried about the blue, but now it's actually one of my favorite things about the quilt.
